MY IMPRESSIONS ARE THAT HOUGHTON AND WYTON IS A HIDDEN GEM IN THE WORLD OF PRE-SCHOOLS.
The stressful and scary journey from home to pre-school for both parents and their child is made to feel safe and comfortable. I feel that my child is recognised as an individual and his needs when it comes to adjusting to being in such a different environment to home, are met with ample amounts of patience, kindness and lots of smiles by the amazing ladies that work in the pre-school. My son is allowed to get use to being away from his safety net (me) at his own pace, with intellectual and kind approach. I genuinely could not be more grateful for you ladies!

The team provide good quality care for children, and you always receive brilliant constructive feedback regarding your child. They were able to pick up on micro behavioural changes in our son which meant we could adjust things for him, and I can’t thank them enough for this. In essence the team deserves the outstanding Ofsted rating, and it is clear why this was obtained.

Our daughter attends Houghton and Wyton Pre-school and we could not be any happier with the way the teachers help and support her. She is the second child we have had at the preschool with our eldest also attending a couple of years ago before going on to the primary.
We value the professionalism and trust from the teachers at the preschool which gives us the peace of mind that our daughter is taken care of.

We have been connected for over 10 years with three grandchildren attending this special safe place. A cousin and two siblings have grown in this nurturing environment thanks to your care and wonderful attitude of many staff over the years.
Not only have the children’s individual needs been met but there is an understanding that parents and carers are involved and often their needs and family demands will necessitate considerations in the individual care plans. We know we come as a package and sometimes a smile, hug and a cuppa will settle!
Its all about trust and I for one feel my grandchildren are where they have needed to be for the best start in their early years education.

Both of our daughters have been part of Houghton and Wyton preschool and have absolutely thrived as a result. The team are supportive, caring and professional and have not only encouraged the development of our daughters but also helped them get ready for starting school, which is so important. They have enjoyed a variety of activities, discovered new interests and above all else had fun!
