As the pre-school is a charity run organisation, over the course of the academic year the pre-school parent management committee arrange many events and activities to help generate funds for the pre-school directly and other charities.

There are many ways to get involved, here are just a few examples of what we get up to…

  • Christmas Cards – The children have great fun producing festive artwork to be turned into Christmas cards, mugs and wrapping paper.
  • World Book Day – The children come to pre-school dressed as their favourite book character and donations go towards Book Aid International.
  • Easter Egg Hunt – The pre-school runs this event, not only for the pre-school families but also to the wider community. The event is an Easter egg hunt around the village, spotting Easter eggs decorated by the pre-school children themselves.
  • Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Events
  • Toddle Waddle – In Spring the children take part in a sponsored walk around the village, with a warm hot chocolate at the end!
  • Nametags – Parents can order tags online from www.MyNametags.com and using the School ID 44915.
  • The Giving Machine – Just a reminder that if you shop online, you can raise a free cash donation with every purchase if you join www.TheGivingMachine.co.uk. It’s really simple, you enter your favourite shops via TheGivingMachine and a percentage of your shopping bill is converted into a cash donation for us, at no extra cost to you. With over 2,000 stores participating including Amazon, John Lewis and Tesco taking part, you can really help make a difference.
